Welcome to Statesville Skateland

Hello, This is April Medlin, daughter of Ted Medlin, if you have lived in statesville all your life than I am sure you know who we are, if you don't know who we are I look forward to meeting you. Most of you are probably aware that the skating rink is currently being leased. However, due to some issues, the family is hoping to be back in the skating rink by the first of the year. Once we are back in the rink we are hoping to make it a much better, exciting and family oriented enviornment than before. I have many ideas in place for our reopening and am ready to start as soon as we get the okay. I look forward to seeing a new generation of children (being that dad has been in this business for 40 years, it is great to see the older and newer crowds). One of my projects that I have underway during our wait is a video of past customers. I would like to hear stories and get photos of past skating experiences. It can be from any skating rink because I know we all have stories and photos we would like to share and the children love hearing stories. Please email these to me at stvlskateland@aol.com and I will post them on this website and include your experiences in the project. I think this will be really fun for other skaters to enjoy. Also any suggestion for our new opening will be greatly appriciated. We can't succeed with out opinions and comments from previous customers, so all will be accepted and considered.
